Dr. Andrew Atchison
Andrew Atchison, DDS is a native of Fergus Falls, MN. He graduated from Concordia College and then graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota. He was previously employed with Metro Dental care in Coon Rapids, MN. Dr. Atchison enjoys every facet of general dentistry, and he looks forward to establishing relationships with all of his clients.
Dr. Atchison is a member of one of the most highly recognized comprehensive continuing education programs, Spear Education and Study Club, where he meets regularly with colleagues for collaboration in treating complex dental cases
Along with his wife and two daughters, Dr. Atchison enjoys practicing in the Fargo-Moorhead community. Dr. Atchison is a big sports fan and also enjoys reading, running, and spending time at the lake.
Kylah
Dental Assistant
Kylah received her training at Central Lakes College in Brainerd, MN, where she graduated in 2008. She has been part of the Northland Dental team since 2011.
Kylah enjoys the diversity of dental assisting, including seating and dismissing patients, assisting the doctor during procedures, taking x-rays, and educating patients on their treatment. She also enjoys creating personal relationships to help patients feel comfortable and ensure they have a positive experience.
In her free time, Kylah enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Ice fishing and snowmobiling are her favorite winter activities, and in the summer, she enjoys camping and kayaking.
Kathy
Dental Assistant
Kathy joined the Northland Dental team in 2023 and has been part of the dental field since 1997. Kathy enjoys all aspects of dentistry.
In her free time, she enjoys: reading, boating, motorcycle rides and traveling.
Olyvia
Dental Assistant
Olyvia graduated from Central Lakes College in Brainerd, Minnesota, in 2023 with a degree in Dental Assisting. Before joining our team in May 2025, she worked in the Twin Cities, gaining valuable experience in the dental field.
Olyvia enjoys the variety that dental assisting offers and the opportunity to connect with people every day. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable, confident, and cared for throughout their visit.
Outside of work, Olyvia loves spending time with family and friends, traveling, and soaking up the sunshine. Whether she's golfing, relaxing on the lake, or enjoying the outdoors, she's happiest outside. She also has two English Labs, Toby and Nelson, who love swimming, getting into mischief, and cuddling. She also enjoys spending time with her dad running their bee farm.
Janet
Dental Hygienist
Janet attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND, and from 1981 to 1985 worked as a dental assistant and then a dental hygienist. In 1992, she joined the Northland Dental team.
As a dental hygienist, Janet’s goal is to positively impact the oral health of every patient that comes to our office. She enjoys meeting and connecting with the patients and educating them on how to take care of their teeth. Janet’s role is to take x-rays, remove plaque and tartar, perform scaling and root planing, apply sealants and fluoride, and take impressions.
When she’s not busy assisting our patients, Janet enjoys spending time with family, traveling, walking, baking, and canning.
Carissa
Hygienist
Carissa graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College Moorhead for dental hygiene in 2012 and has been working in the Fargo-Moorhead area ever since.
Carissa enjoys everything she gets to do to help our patients, which include cleanings, periodontal therapies, taking x-rays, placing sealants, and fluoride applications. Carissa likes to educate patients on how they can achieve their hygiene goals, and loves staying up to date with current products, procedures, and techniques to help patients stay comfortable throughout the appointment.
Even though dentistry is her favorite thing, Carissa enjoys being outdoors any time of year with her husband Travis and dog Shelby. In the winter you'll find her at her second home, the curling club
Lauren
Hygienist
Lauren graduated from Minnesota State Community and Technical College Moorhead in 2023 with an Associate of Applied Science and from Minnesota State Mankato in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene.
Lauren is excited to help patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile! Her role focuses on preventive care by cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and educating patients on the best oral care practices. She is passionate about helping people feel confident about their dental health and making sure they have the tools they need to maintain it. If you have any questions or concerns during your visit, she’s always here to help!
In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends and family. She has a growing collection of house plants and enjoys filling her house with greenery. She also enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring new places and creating memories together.
Ellie
Hygienist
Ellie grew up near Abercrombie, ND and went to school at NDSCS for dental hygiene. She enjoys summer, getting out in the sun, and being at the lakes! Paddle boarding and tanning are go-tos! She spends a lot of her time with family and the many nieces/nephews. She is a big Vikings fan and likes to travel!
Taylor
Hygienist
Taylor earned her degree in Dental Hygiene and Assisting from M State and is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her patients while helping them achieve healthy, confident smiles. She enjoys educating patients about their oral health and loves seeing the confidence that comes from a healthy smile.
Outside of the office, Taylor and her husband stay busy raising their three wonderful children and embracing the fun and chaos of family life. They also have two dogs who are growing up right alongside the kids. During farming season, you can often find the whole crew riding in the tractor with Dad.
When she's not at work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family on the farm, gardening, and making memories at the lake.
Aimee
Office Manager
Aimee brings 9 years of experience in dental administration and is committed to fostering a positive, welcoming work environment for both patients and colleagues. She takes pride in connecting with patients and coordinating appointments for new and established patients alike, ensuring each visit begins smoothly. Aimee is a trusted resource when it comes to the financial side of dental care, patiently guiding patients through their benefit coverage and answering questions with clarity and compassion. Understanding that dental visits can feel overwhelming, she is dedicated to creating a calm, supportive experience that minimizes stress and helps patients feel confident in their care.
Outside of the office, Aimee is blessed with a family of six, keeping her and her husband busy with their children’s activities and making the most of time spent with friends and family. Much of their time is spent at her in-laws’ lake house, her brother’s family cabin, or their hunting cabin, but their favorite moments are simply being together and making memories wherever they are.
Deanna
Scheduling Coordinator
Deanna graduated from Northland Community and Technical College East Grand Forks, MN. In 2023, she joined the team at Northland Dental.
As a scheduling coordinator, Deanna’s job is to help patients feel welcome and show them that their dental health is in great hands when they come in to get their dental needs taken care of. She enjoys greeting our patients when they first walk through our doors and ensuring that all their dental needs are scheduled in a timely fashion.
In her free time, Deanna enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking and cooking, hanging out with family and friends, traveling, and being at the lake in the summer.
Lyndsey
Scheduling Coordinator
Born and raised in Moorhead, Minnesota, Lyndsey is our Scheduling Coordinator and Front Desk Receptionist. She loves meeting new people, answering questions, and making each visit as smooth and welcoming as possible.
Lyndsey believes exceptional patient care starts with kindness, compassion, and creating a positive experience for every patient.
Outside of work, Lyndsey is a proud mother of two and loves spending time with her grandson, traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and making memories with family and friends.
